    • A technical workshop delving into the science behind ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee beverages, focusing on milk integration and shelf stability. “This is a unique short course focused on RTD coffee with milk beverages. Industry professionals in R&D, production, and marketing will benefit tremendously from the focus on formulation, processing, and shelf-stability aspects. We have also had in our audience, coffee shop personnel who were interesting in creating ready-to-drink products and marketing and sales folks who found it valuable to hear about industry trends and market opportunities.     The World Coffee Roasting Championship (WCRC) celebrates exceptional coffee roasting by testing participants’ skills in coffee evaluation, preparation, blending, and roasting. This three-stage competition assesses international competitors on their ability to grade green coffee, craft a roasting profile that highlights the coffee’s best qualities, and achieve outstanding cup quality. Certified judges evaluate participants based on numerous criteria, including their pre-roasting preparation and production roasting expertise.

      The London Coffee Festival 2025 offers a vibrant mix of industry insights and public coffee celebrations. Featuring over 260 artisan brands, live demonstrations, workshops, and attractions like the Coffee Masters competition, Brew School, and Latte Art Live, the event highlights the best of the coffee scene. New for 2025 are the LCF Awards, recognizing top coffee shops and influencers through expert and consumer votes.       “After the success of our first Liverpool Coffee Festival last year, for this year’s festival we are going much BIGGER! The festival will take place alongside much loved bars, Black Lodge Brewery and SubRosa in Liverpool’s bustling Baltic area a short hop away from the city centre. This year we will be inviting even more businesses from all over the UK to get involved, whilst still shining a light on Liverpool’s exponential growth as part of the UK specialty coffee community over recent years and showcasing the amazing local businesses in the area.
      As part of this celebration of Liverpool’s growing coffee scene, you can expect professional coffee tastings led by international green coffee traders, panel talks with people from all parts of the industry, latte art competitions (with the chance to win prizes!), a live music stage and much more. Plus, a lot of free tasters of the best coffee around Don’t worry about getting too over-caffeinated, though.       The World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) celebrates barista creativity and skill in crafting intricate latte designs, judged on visual appeal, consistency, and overall artistry. In 2024, the competition expanded to include a Semi-Final round with an audience-focused Art Bar and stage performances, culminating in a final round where top competitors recreate matching free-pour and designer lattes to vie for the championship title.
    • June 26–28: World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship — Geneva, Canton of Geneva, Switzerland
      The World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS) showcases baristas and mixologists blending coffee with spirits, crafting drinks from classic Irish Coffee to creative cocktails. Competitors advance through rounds creating coffee-based beverages, with the top performer in the final round crowned champion.
    • June 26–28: World Cezve/Ibrik Championship — Geneva, Canton of Geneva, Switzerland
      The Cezve/Ibrik Championship highlights the art of traditional coffee brewing using the cezve or ibrik, a method commonly used across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Competitors are encouraged to design their performances with personal and cultural elements, celebrating one of the oldest coffee preparation traditions in a competitive format.
    • June 26–28: World Cup Tasters Championship — Geneva, Canton of Geneva, Switzerland
      The World Cup Tasters Championship (WCTC) celebrates coffee cuppers who excel in speed, skill, and accuracy by identifying distinct taste differences in specialty coffees. Competitors use their senses to pick the odd cup out of a triangle, progressing through rounds based on correct answers and time until a champion is crowned in the Finals.
