The transportation of coffee from producing countries to consumer markets, typically by sea in large containers, ensuring safe and timely delivery. Shipping containers are packed with either a Full Container Load (FCL) or Less than Container Load (LCL). Specialty coffees may have a refrigerated container. Roasters coordinate with importers and logistics companies to ensure timely and safe arrival of the beans.
